Support EMOMI's safety goal of maintaining an injury-free workplace by following safety procedures, observing safe working practices and maintaining a safe work environment Ensure that plant activities are performed in compliance with governmental rules and regulations, company policies and procedures and accepted industry standards. Monitor, review, understand and interpret regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FERC/NERC, DOT, PUC, and CEC. Assess employee needs and develop and/or administer training programs to ensure employee skills meet EMOMI standards to operate and maintain the plant safely and efficiently while maintaining adherence to all regulatory requirements. Supervise the review, development and implementation of directives, plant procedures, memorandums and informal letters in order to maintain operating and maintenance procedures consistent with optimum plant performance, government regulations and company policy. Provide support to the Plant Manager in the preparation of periodic reports and charts relating to regulatory affairs, plant operation and maintenance, budgeting, and other related functions. Participate in the development of the operation and maintenance budget. Monitor and control plant budget performance. Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers. Maintain a positive company image and constructive relationships with all internal and external customers. Work effectively in a team environment as a leader, member and/or facilitator. Perform other duties and assignments as required.
